Most of DLF Phase 1 is not gated. Qutub Enclave runs as builder floors from Block A through Block S, and there are independent villas and kothis across Sectors 26 and 26A. Ridgewood Estate and Westend Heights are the condominium exceptions.

That changes the first question we ask. On a builder floor or in a villa there is no society gate process to clear, so we can usually start the same day the family calls.

It is the practical difference between this page and the Phase 5 one, and it is worth knowing if you are reading this in a hospital corridor with a discharge happening this afternoon.

The second question is the floor. We ask which floor the flat is on and whether there is a lift, because that decides whether one caregiver can manage a transfer alone or whether the shift needs two people.

A family that skips this ends up with one person trying to bring a patient down a staircase, which is how the second injury happens.

Dementia and Alzheimer's care is the bulk of what we run in Phase 1. Live in attendants, night attendants and post stroke care follow.

Night cover is asked for here more than in most of Gurgaon, and the reason is the housing. In an independent floor, an elderly person who wanders at two in the morning is on a staircase, not in a corridor with a guard at the end of it.

A night placement is not a person sleeping in the next room. It is someone awake, with the lights they need, checking at set intervals, handling the bathroom trip, and writing down what happened so the day caregiver is not guessing.

Fortis Memorial in Sector 44 and Medanta in Sector 38 handle the hospital end. Paras is in Sector 43. Kalyani Hospital in Sector 14 is the one families here use for smaller procedures without going down Golf Course Road at all.

On a post stroke discharge we take the summary first. Whether the patient can swallow safely, whether there is a catheter, and what the physiotherapist has asked for decide whether this is a nurse or an attendant.

Day to day on a dementia placement, the routine is deliberately dull. Same caregiver, same order of tasks, same times. Meals, medication, a walk in the Aravalli Biodiversity Park side of the sector if the patient is steady, and a written log every evening.

We do not rotate people through a dementia household to fill a roster gap. If the regular caregiver takes leave, the family meets the replacement before the day, not on it.

Every caregiver carries police verification and an identity card. The family approves the photograph, the years worked and the languages before the person travels.

If the fit is wrong, we change the person. On a builder floor with no gate process, that replacement can also start the same day.

What changes the price is the condition and the hours, not the block letter. A qualified nurse costs more than a trained attendant, and post stroke cases coming home to a builder floor usually need the nurse.

Twenty four hour live in costs more than twelve, and night only cover is a third option families in these floors often want instead. A patient who needs two people for every transfer is priced as two people.

Night only cover is quoted separately, and on these floors it is the option families ask about most.

A trial shift is available first, and on a same day start we would rather run one than promise a stranger will suit a household with dementia in it.

Caregivers for Phase 1 come from Chakkarpur, Nathupur and Sikanderpur Ghosi. They work in Hindi and English, with Punjabi, Bengali and Nepali on the roster.

Guru Dronacharya and Sikanderpur are the nearest metro stations, and Qutub Plaza and the DLF Phase 1 market are the landmarks families give when they are directing a caregiver in.

A live in placement in a house with no gate raises a fair question about security, and we would rather answer it than let it sit. The caregiver's identity, address and police verification are on file before they arrive. The family holds a copy.

Nobody is sent to a villa or a builder floor on the strength of a phone introduction.

We also ask, on the first visit, who else has keys and who is expected to come and go. In a kothi with domestic staff, a driver and a gardener already moving through the day, an unclear answer is how small things go missing and trust breaks down.

Sectors 26 and 26A hold more addresses than the four named above. Independent villas, kothis and blocks across Qutub Enclave are all covered on the same terms, so ask if yours is not listed.

To start, send the block and house number, what the doctor has asked for, and when you need someone. Because there is usually no gate clearance to wait on in Phase 1, a message in the morning can be a caregiver in the house the same day.

If we cannot cover the shift, we tell you in that first reply rather than leaving you to arrange around a maybe.
