Sushant Lok Phase 1 is lettered, not numbered. A Block, B Block, C Block and D Block each have their own internal roads and their own market, and Hibiscus and Marigold sit as apartment blocks inside that grid.

Address confusion is the practical problem here, and it costs families time. Block letters repeat across Sushant Lok 1, 2 and 3, and a driver given only a letter can end up two colonies away.

So we confirm three things before a caregiver leaves Kanhai: the phase, the block letter, and the nearest market or landmark. It takes one extra message and it removes the most common reason a first shift starts late.

A Block and B Block have the oldest resident group in the colony. Most of our dementia and post stroke placements in Sushant Lok are in those two, and the households there have often been in the same house since the colony was built.

W Pratiksha Hospital is inside Sushant Lok itself, which makes it the first stop for most acute problems. Fortis Memorial in Sector 44, Artemis in Sector 51 and Medanta in Sector 38 handle what the local hospital does not.

That local hospital changes how quickly things move. A family here often goes from a fall in the house to an admission and back home within days, and the care arrangement has to keep pace with that rather than being set up once and left.

Dementia care is the largest category, then live in attendants, then post stroke care, then physiotherapy.

On a dementia placement the routine is deliberately unchanging. The same caregiver, arriving at the same time, doing tasks in the same order. Medication given and written down. Meals at fixed hours.

A walk to Leisure Valley or around the block if the patient is steady on their feet.

We do not rotate people through a dementia household to fill a roster gap. If the regular caregiver takes leave, the family meets the replacement in advance, while the patient is settled, rather than on the morning it happens.

Post stroke work arrives as a discharge with a physiotherapy plan attached. The caregiver holds the routine between the physiotherapist's visits. They do not invent exercises, and they do not push a patient past what has been cleared.

Day to day, an attendant placement here is supervision more than activity. Someone present when the patient stands. The bathroom supervised every time, because that is where the second fall happens. Two short walks. A written log each evening the family can read.

There is no colony wide gate clearance to file in Sushant Lok Phase 1. Entry runs at the house or the block, which means a placement can usually start without waiting on a committee.

Every caregiver working in Sushant Lok carries police verification, an identity card, and a written record of experience and languages spoken. The family sees that record and approves the person before they travel.

If the caregiver is not right for the household, we replace them. In a colony where residents talk to each other constantly, we would rather change the person quickly than have a family stay polite and unhappy about it.

What changes the price is the condition and the hours, not the block. A qualified nurse costs more than a trained attendant, and most dementia placements in A and B Block run with an attendant rather than a nurse.

Twenty four hour live in costs more than a twelve hour shift, and in Sushant Lok most dementia households settle on the live in. A patient who needs two people for every transfer is priced as two people.

Physiotherapy is charged per visit because it is a different professional.

A trial day is available before a long placement. On dementia arrangements that are going to run for years, it is worth taking.

Caregivers for Sushant Lok come from Kanhai, Chakkarpur and Wazirabad. They work in Hindi and English, with Punjabi, Bengali and Malayalam on the roster.

Punjabi comes up often in A and B Block, and for a patient who has slipped back to a first language it is not a small detail.

HUDA City Centre and IFFCO Chowk are the nearest metro stations. Vyapar Kendra and Hong Kong Bazaar are the two landmarks families use most when directing someone in.

Sushant Lok Phase 1 has its own internal markets in most blocks, so routine chemist and grocery needs during a recovery do not require anyone to leave the colony.

For a patient who is mobile, the loop around Leisure Valley is the walk we use most, and we build it into the day rather than treating it as optional. Movement is most of what prevents the next admission.

To start, send the phase, the block letter and the house number, what the doctor has asked for, and the hours you need. We reply with who is free and what it costs, or we tell you we cannot cover the shift.
