Felix Hospital is in Sector 137 itself. The ward and the flat are in the same sector, so a discharge here does not involve a journey across Noida and the handover can happen in person.

That is the practical reason to tell us the discharge time in advance. When we know it, the caregiver is in the flat with the medication schedule already written out before the patient reaches home.

Paras Tierea, Logix Blossom County, Ajnara Daffodil, Purvanchal Royal City, Supertech Ecociti and Assotech Windsor Court are the six societies that hold most of the sector. Between them they run to a very large number of flats in a small area.

Jaypee in Sector 128 and Yatharth in Sector 110 are the other hospitals used from here, mostly for heavier surgical work that Felix does not take.

Post operative care is the largest single category on this page, then newborn care, then elderly attendants. Those three need different people and we do not treat them as interchangeable.

On a post operative discharge we ask for the summary before quoting anything. Wound dressing schedule, drains, catheter, weight bearing limits and the follow up date decide whether the case needs a qualified nurse or a trained attendant.

Day to day that placement is dressing changes on the stated schedule with clean technique, medication exactly on time, and mobility only as far as the surgeon cleared.

It also means watching the wound for the signs of infection that show up before a fever does, and keeping a log the doctor can read at follow up.

The thing that sends post operative patients back into hospital is usually not the surgery. It is a missed dose, a wound left too long between dressings, or a patient who moved before they were cleared to.

All three are preventable by someone whose only job that week is to pay attention.

Newborn care here is a separate service with separate staff. Night feeds so the mother sleeps properly, bathing and cord care, and watching the mother's own recovery rather than only the baby's.

We do not send an elderly care attendant to a newborn placement because they happened to be free.

Elderly placements in this sector are often parents staying with adult children rather than permanent residents, so they tend to run for a season rather than for years. We price and plan them that way instead of pushing a long contract.

Each society runs its own staff entry registration, and the larger ones require the caregiver registered at the society office before regular entry. We complete that rather than arriving at the gate on the first morning to argue about it.

Every caregiver entering a Sector 137 society carries police verification, an identity card, and a written record of experience and languages. The family approves the person before they travel from Sadarpur.

If the caregiver is not right for the household, we replace them, and the replacement is registered with the society office the same way.

Price follows the service, the condition and the hours. A qualified nurse costs more than a trained attendant, and a Felix post operative discharge often needs the nurse for the first fortnight. Newborn care is its own category.

Twenty four hour cover costs more than a twelve hour shift, and a post operative case often needs the full day only for the first week.

Catheter care, oxygen, suction and tube feeding move a case from attendant to nurse. Night only cover is quoted separately, which suits the newborn placements here.

A trial day is available before a long placement, though on a same week post operative discharge most families need the right person immediately rather than an audition.

Caregivers for this sector come from Sadarpur and Chhalera, on the same side of the expressway. They work in Hindi and English, with Bengali and Bhojpuri on the roster.

The Sector 137 Aqua Line station sits at the edge of the sector, which makes this one of the easier addresses in Noida for a family member to reach without a car.

The six societies named above are not the whole sector. Smaller blocks and adjoining stock are covered on the same terms, so ask if yours is not listed.

Sector 137 is compact and well signposted, which makes it one of the easier addresses to reach on a first visit. The metro station and the Felix building are visible from most of the sector.

For a family arranging care from outside Noida, that also means a relative can get here quickly without a car. We mention it because on a post operative discharge the first forty eight hours usually go better when someone from the family is also present.
