## Pick 6 hours a day when

- Your parent is fine on their own for part of the day and struggles at a predictable time.
- Somebody is home in the evening, and the gap is the working day.
- The need is medicines, meals, mobility and company rather than constant supervision.
- You want to start smaller and add hours if it is not enough. Adding is easy, unwinding an oversized plan is awkward.

## Pick 12 hours a day when

- Your parent cannot safely be alone for long, from falls, confusion or a condition that can turn.
- Nights are the problem. Wandering, disorientation and getting to the bathroom all happen after dark.
- A family member is doing 12 hours a day themselves and is running out.
- The patient is bedbound and needs turning, cleaning and feeding on a schedule.

## When the answer is more than 12 hours

- Round the clock care is coming. It is a pair of saathis on rotation rather than a longer block, because nobody can safely work a full day, and it is not open for booking yet. Ask us on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly where it stands in your area rather than selling you a 12 hour block that does not solve it.
- The care needed is clinical through the day. That is a nurse, and we will coordinate one rather than pretending an attendant covers it.
- A 12 hour block set across the hours that actually go wrong solves more households than a full day does. Tell us when the trouble happens and we will place the block there.

## Questions

### Can the 12 hour block run overnight?

Yes. The block is 12 hours at a timing you choose, so it can be set to run through the evening and night. Ask on WhatsApp for the exact window and we confirm what is possible in your area before you pay.

### Can I change the timing later?

Yes. Message us on the same thread. What we cannot do is change it silently, so tell us before the day rather than after, and we confirm the new window in writing.

### Can I move from 6 hours to 12?

Yes, at any point. We count the days already served on the smaller block and settle the difference. Most families who move do it in the first fortnight, once they see where the real gap is.

### Do you do 24 hour care?

Not yet. It is coming, and it is a separate plan rather than a longer block, because round the clock cover is two saathis on rotation. Ask on WhatsApp and we will tell you where it stands in your area. Until then a 12 hour block is the largest we publish, and it is one dedicated saathi for all 12 hours, which is why continuity holds.
