A verified saathi comes over, talks, walks with them, helps with what needs doing, and tells you honestly how they seemed. Everything happens on WhatsApp. ## What it is A companion visit is the least clinical thing we do and often the one that changes the most. Someone comes, sits, listens, and notices. Notices that the fridge is empty, that the walk is slower than last week, that the mood has changed. It is also the easiest booking for a parent to agree to. Nobody wants to admit they need a caregiver. Almost everybody will accept somebody dropping by. The saathi does whatever the visit needs. A conversation, a walk to the market, a hand with the phone, help writing a list. A care advisor replies. Asking is free. 3. **We confirm a verified saathi.** You get the saathi name and photo before the visit. Every saathi is police and document verified, with references called and the check repeated every 6 months. 4. **Pay by UPI or cash.** Payment happens at the time of the visit. We do not take cards. Add ons like lab tests are quoted and confirmed with you before anything is spent. 5. **Proof lands on the same thread.** Photo proof, a vitals snapshot and a short written summary go to the family members you name. No notice period and no fee for the swap. - **One strike.** A caregiver who is dishonest with a family does not get a second placement anywhere on the roster. ## Questions ### Is this just a maid service? No. A saathi is a trained caregiver, not domestic help. They will help with small things around the house, and they will not be sent to clean or cook for the household. If that is what you need, this is not the right booking. ### Which language will the saathi speak? Every area we cover lists the languages available there, and it is more than Hindi and English in most of them. Tell us which language your parent is comfortable in when you message and we match it. ### How often do families book these? Most start with one visit a week and move up if it helps. Some move to a daily block once the parent has got used to the person. There is no minimum commitment on a single visit. ### Will you tell me the truth about how they are? Yes, including when the answer is uncomfortable. A summary that says everything is fine every week is worth nothing. If your parent seemed low, or ate badly, or was unsteady, that goes in the note. ### Can the same person come each time? Yes, and it works far better. Tell us on WhatsApp and we keep the same saathi.
