Every saathi is police and document verified, with references called and the check repeated every 6 months. 4. **Pay by UPI or cash.** Payment happens at the time of the visit. We do not take cards. Add ons like lab tests are quoted and confirmed with you before anything is spent. 5. **Proof lands on the same thread.** Photo proof, a vitals snapshot and a short written summary go to the family members you name. No notice period and no fee for the swap. - **One strike.** A caregiver who is dishonest with a family does not get a second placement anywhere on the roster. ## Questions ### Do you choose the doctor? No. You and your parent choose. We list the hospitals near each area we cover so the choice is informed, but we have no preferred hospital and take no referral fee from anyone. ### Is transport included? The escort is part of the visit and costs nothing extra. Travel is the one thing that can carry a charge: if your loved one has to be taken somewhere, we arrange the trip, charge what it cost, and confirm the amount with you before it is booked. ### Can I send questions for the doctor? Yes, and it is the single most useful thing you can do from abroad. Send them on the WhatsApp thread before the appointment and the saathi asks them and writes down the answers. ### What if the appointment runs long? The saathi stays. If it runs past the hours you booked, extra hours are charged at the published rate and we tell you before it happens, not after. ### Will you explain the diagnosis to me? We will tell you exactly what the doctor said and give you the written prescription. We will not interpret a diagnosis or offer a medical opinion.
