Everything happens on WhatsApp. ## What it is Elder care at home is a trained saathi coming to where your parent already lives, so nobody has to move to a facility to be looked after. A visit runs a fixed block of hours. A monthly plan puts the same saathi in the house every day at a timing you choose. The point of the written summary is that a family spread across three cities stops relying on one sibling’s memory of a phone call. Everyone named on the thread sees the same thing. The saathi is a companion attendant. They watch, help, record and escalate. They do not perform clinical procedures. There is no form, no account, and no app to install. 2. **Tell us four things.** The city and area, who the care is for, what they need help with, and when you want someone there. A care advisor replies. Asking is free. 3. **We confirm a verified saathi.** You get the saathi name and photo before the visit. Every saathi is police and document verified, with references called and the check repeated every 6 months. 4. **Pay by UPI or cash.** Payment happens at the time of the visit. We do not take cards. Add ons like lab tests are quoted and confirmed with you before anything is spent. 5. **Proof lands on the same thread.** Photo proof, a vitals snapshot and a short written summary go to the family members you name. You can be in another city or another country and still see what happened. ## Where we cover - Gurgaon: 46 areas, https://ayusaathi.com/care/gurgaon - Noida: 39 areas, https://ayusaathi.com/care/noida - Kanpur: 40 areas, https://ayusaathi.com/care/kanpur ## How the saathi is verified - **Identity on file.** Government ID and a current address for every caregiver, held before they are offered a shift. - **Background checked.** Police verification filed for each caregiver, and rechecked every six months. - **References called.** Two previous employers spoken to, not two phone numbers collected. - **You approve first.** Photo, ID status, years of experience and languages sent to you before anyone travels to your address. - **Replaced, not argued about.** If the person is wrong for the patient, tell us and we send someone else. No notice period and no fee for the swap. - **One strike.** A caregiver who is dishonest with a family does not get a second placement anywhere on the roster. ## Questions ### Can the same saathi come every day? Yes, that is what the monthly plan is for. A dedicated saathi at the timing you choose, 6 or 12 hours a day. Continuity matters more than almost anything else with an elderly parent, so we keep the same person unless you ask us to change. ### My parent has dementia. Will they accept a stranger? Usually not on day one, and we do not pretend otherwise. We keep the same saathi, start with short blocks and simple company rather than tasks, and build from there. Tell us the diagnosis when you message so we assign someone who has done it before. ### What if my parent refuses help? Book a single visit first rather than a month. A one off visit is easier to agree to, and most families find the second one is not argued about. There is no charge unless a visit actually takes place. ### Do you provide a nurse? A saathi is a trained companion attendant, not a nurse. Some hold formal qualifications, some do not, and we never hold them out as nurses. Where clinical care is needed we coordinate a doctor or a qualified nurse and the saathi stays through it. ### How do I know they actually came? Photo proof and a written summary land on your WhatsApp thread after every visit. Not a tick in an app you have to open. A message, in the thread you already use. ### Can I book from abroad? Yes. Message us from any timezone. You choose which family members are on the thread, and you pay by UPI from an Indian account or ask a relative to.
